The Choraliers and Pearl

It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to our group, The Choraliers and Pearl .  We are completely Christ oriented and our goal is to bring Christ to those who do not know Him.  We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again to give us life, that through Him all things are possible, and many times God has proven this to His children.  We want to bring joy to those who are sad and salvation to those that are lost.  We are ordinary people doing extraordinary things in Jesus’ name.  We, as a group, are seeking God’s will in our lives, in all we do and in the places we go.

Let me introduce you to everyone:

Mark Martin
Mark Martin is our instrumentalist. He currently plays piano for the group, but also plays drums and bass guitar. Mark often adds the music to the songs God allows us to write and, on occasion, sings the bass harmony. Mark also serves as one of the drivers of the bus.
Jamie Martin It is also a pleasure to have Mark’s wife, Jamie Martin, with us. Jamie does some singing during our programs and helps with the setting up.
Pearl Paugh
Pearl Paugh sings the low harmony and is the eldest member of the group. She brings many years of experience to the group, faithfully singing Gospel Music for over fifty years. We’re excited that Pearl will be inducted into the Pennsylvania Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in October.
Wayne Paugh Pearl’s husband, Wayne Paugh, is very supportive and keeps the bus in shape as our in-house mechanic. Wayne most enjoys driving the bus on our trips to his old hometown in the mountains of West Virginia.
Kim Godo Kim Godo may be short in stature, but reaches great Kim's mom Aliceheights with her high harmony, adding a special sweetness to the songs we sing.

Kim’s mom, Alice is a big support for Kim as she travels from place to place. We appreciate Alice for her willingness to travel and share in the ministry in this way.
Dorothy Smeltzer Dorothy Smeltzer’s alto harmony and occasional lead will bless your heart. She also writes some of the songs that we sing.
Carol Geiselman

Carol Geiselman does most of the lead singing, some of the songwriting and emcees for the group when we are ministering.

In 2010, Carol was honored as Pennsylvania Southern Gospel Music Association's Fan Favorite Female Vocalist.

Tim Geiselman Tim Geiselman, Carol’s husband, is our sound technician. Tim also shares in the bus driving duties.

Once in a while we get the pleasure of sharing the talent of the youngest member in our group. Hannah Geiselman, Carol and Tim’s daughter, loves to sing and has a brand new song (that she helped write) to sing for the congregations.

We love the Lord with all our hearts.  It is our desire to see souls won for the Kingdom of Heaven and proclaim His name to all generations.  We have fun and praise the name of the Lord.
We have some goals the Lord has given us:

1) That God will be glorified,
2) That His people will be sanctified,
3) That the gospel be taken to the Whole World
4) That we join together as a church in unity to promote His kingdom (John 17).

We love meeting new people and making new friends.  We enjoy what we do and hope we can share with you in song what talent God has given us.

Hope to see you soon.

Blessings…
As always, we want to say “Thank You” for all the prayers and support. We feel those prayers often as we travel the many miles and share in testimony and song for the Lord. We encourage each of you to seek God’s Blessings . . . like the little things from God that we often overlook: The laughter of a child, each breath we take, the love of friends & family, a rainbow after a storm, and so much more.

We’re pleased that our newest project, celebrating Pearl’s 50+ years in Gospel Music Ministry, is now available. We have a special treat on this project, as one of the songs features Pearl on lead.

As many of you know, Tim was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer again. The treatment option: Aggressive chemo with potential bone marrow transplant to follow. We put it in God’s hands, and asked for healing of the cancer. For all those who prayed in agreement with us . . . we thank you. God answered. When Tim went to the doctor to find out if he was a candidate for bone marrow transplant, he got even better news - No bone marrow transplant or chemo needed. Tim’s condition is a very rare type of Hodgkin’s Disease. Ultimately a very slow cancer, it can be monitored and controlled with only antibodies and/or other non-aggressive treatments. The prognosis is very positive. The doctor wants to monitor Tim for 6 months and then determine treatment. We lift our thanks and praise to God, for we know that He is working this miracle of healing in Tim's body.

We look forward to opportunities to share in song and testimony. If you’re interested in having us at your church or event, just call Pearl at (717) 225-5606.

In Christian Love,
The Choraliers & Pearl
